Three evenings of Vermentino, seafood flavours and live music. In the evocative Cloister of San Francesco, Note di Vermentino returns — an event bringing together wine, food and music in a unique atmosphere. Vermentino in the spotlight. For three evenings you can taste a selection of Vermentinos from Suvereto and the Val di Cornia, an authentic expression of a land long defined by viticulture and the quality of its wines. Every glass tells a story of passion, tradition and a deep bond with the land. Flavours of the sea. The tastings are paired with a fish menu prepared by volunteers of the Ente Valorizzazione Suvereto, with recipes inspired by local cuisine and designed to bring out the best in Vermentino. From mussel soup to seafood stew, through to fried calamari and squid — each dish comes from the meeting of simplicity, quality ingredients and a spirit of sharing. The music programme. Each evening features live music, with artists who create varied, engaging atmospheres. Friday 19 June – Cantucci e Vinsanto. Irene and Alessandro offer a refined acoustic repertoire ranging from Italian and international classics to original songs. An evening rich in emotion, lightness and wit, perfect to open the 2026 edition of Note di Vermentino. Saturday 20 June – Just The Two Of Us. Serena Berneschi and Gianluca Grisafi take the audience on a musical journey through the finest Italian and international love songs. Jazz tones, elegance and a romantic mood come together in an intimate, engaging show. Sunday 21 June – Decantando. Sabina Manetti and Franco Ceccanti present "Decantando", a project blending international pop, jazz and local culture. Two voices and two guitars guide the audience through a refined musical journey designed to enhance the tasting experience. An experience to savour. Note di Vermentino is a chance to discover and share the best the area has to offer: quality wines, authentic flavours, live music and the timeless beauty of Suvereto's historic centre. Three evenings outdoors, under the stars, with conviviality, tradition and taste.

The Emperor's Barrel Palio is held in memory of Henry VII of Luxembourg, Holy Roman Emperor, whose remains rested in Suvereto between 1313 and 1315 before being transferred to Pisa. Since 1994 this race has been held at night, offering a particularly evocative spectacle that draws thousands of visitors and tourists every year. Qualifying rounds and finals take place through the lit streets of the historic centre, creating a unique atmosphere that combines sport, history and tradition. The event is one of the most anticipated of Suvereto's summer and an important opportunity to promote the village's historic and cultural heritage.
